Just a Day!

I was thinking about what to post today while taking my shower this morning, which made me move much slower than usual. Well, I think I'm just having a slow day. You know the ones when your brain and body have a disconnect.

I got stuck on the parkway this morning because of an accident. Despite taking a very long shower this morning and leaving a bit later than usual, it really didn't affect me at all. I did sit for quite some time, but I didn't even really mind. I'm typically very impatient when it comes to traffic and practically give myself a heart attack because I do not want to be late. Today, I just didn't care. I was listening to the radio and staring out the window. There was one point when I could see the horizon and the red sun making its way up. There was a group of black birds hanging out on a telephone wire. They were preening and chattering away. I love to wonder what they think about.

I made it to work on time, even though I had the opportunity to dawdle a bit this morning. It was nice to have that time. Now, I have to find the plug between my brain and body and reconnect. :) Looks like I will have lots of technology issues to tend to this morning, which means lots of running up and down halls.

I hope you all have a great day! :)

I feel like I am having a slow day today too! Like walking through maple syrup or something...well it is Wednesday, the halfway point, so maybe we can celebrate by slowing down a bit :)

I have always wondered what the birds that gather together on wires and signs are talking about too. I was supposed to actually do some stuff today, but I have already wasted half the day away drinking coffee. Perhaps we've just been given a spare day this week.

I had one of those days last week! I can completely relate. Although I am NEVER calm in traffic - always freaking out. I hope you have a super fantastic day :)

Must be the day. I took the time today when dropping the girls off at SACC to walk down to their classrooms to check out the work displayed outside their doors. They were so proud. I, too, wasn't even late. Lazy day!!! Gotta love em'. Thanks for all the encouraging words. :)
