Yay! It is Saturday!

Things have been quite busy here. Marc has been working a lof of night shifts to help out his pt employer, another employee broke a foot. He's also started participating in a golf league that is supposed to play on Tuesday afternoons. I hope they get on a regular rotation soon. Next weekend, he is going to start training for the Army 10 miler.

I have been ridiculously busy at work. I don't mind busy, but I do mind nuts. I hope thinks will settle down a bit soon.

The weeknights have been pretty routine: dinner, bath, stories and bed. Nathan did go back to the dr this week and his ears, for now, have relented. I hope it stays that way. Poor baby has had six or seven ear infections back to back.

Nathan's speech has exploded. He's trying so much harder to listen and repeat word. He's my snuggly little buddy and loves to give hugs and kisses.

Sydney is very helpful and I love to listen to her chatter to herself when she thinks no pne is listening. She tells her babydolls stories from storybook pictures. She loves to repeat words to be empahtic "It's taking a long long long long long long time." She yells going down the road or when you aren't moving as quickly as she'd like. She has sassy spitfire days, like today, when you want to keep her in her room. She has quite a personality. I see rough roads ahead. :)

It is a beautiful day. I hope you all enjoy it. :)

Five Minutes

I'm hanging out at the doctor's office, now with Syd. I swear these people are going to reserve a room for us. At least, it is a different doctor. We visit this one less frequently.

Okay, so what has been going on other than sick kids? Well, I've been working like crazy, during the work day and working at home just as hard. :)

Saturday, Marc had to work and the rest of us stayed home. Nathan was crazy cranky and had a fever. I had a sore throat and Sydney was sassy sassy sassy. It was not a fun day at all.

Sunday was significantly better. Nathan had gotten over his mysterious fever and, even though my throat was still sore, we went to the Baltimore Aquarium with Wes, Loretta and Tara. We had a very nice time and we were lazy for the rest of the afternoon.

Sunday night was no fun. I stressed about work all night AND Nate was up ALL NIGHT LONG. Marc and I were not a happy couple at 4am. Going to work on Monday was very difficult.

I am looking forward to Idol tonight, but I'm thinking I might miss it.

I hope you are all happy and well. I am thinking about you!

Thanks!

Thank you, Starbucks Stranger! I was having a bit of a craptastic afternoon and decided to stop at Starbucks for a frap. Nothing says cheer like a cup of frozen joe and a mound of whipped cream. Mmmm!

So, I pulled up to the window to pay and the cashier informed me that the car ahead of me had paid for my drink! I just got the biggest smile on my face. I've done similar things and I just thought it was so neat that ot came back around and on the perfect day. Pay it forward, folks!

Starbucks Stranger, you truly made my day!
