"Dad, I failed!"

At least that is what I felt like I was saying this afternoon when I told my boss I would not be applying to law school this Fall. I really look up to my boss in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to my career. As some of you may feel, there is nothing worse than disappointing your family and friends.

Well, it was a grueling task, but it is over now and I feel like he knows where I stand. It certainly is humbling to admit it when you fail. It is only temporary. I know I will get there, one day! :)

Way to rip the proverbial bandaid off. i am sure that was really tough for you. You will get there one day.

Oh I know you will get there. I just know it. I think I said it when you posted it but it took me two tries to pass my licensing boards for appraising. I don't even want to confess how messed up I got with finger waves on my cosmetology boards.

Thanks! :) I will, one day.

Taking tests only helps you understand what you remembered and what you did not remember. Soon you'll come to understand what is most important to you, and when that happens, it becomes 'burned into your brain'. Miss-steps are some of our greatest blessings.

I'm so glad you can talk candidly with your boss - what good fortune.
