For me

I looked at the calendar today and realized that today marks the 17th week of my pregnancy. WOW! Time is just whizzing by now that I am hardly sick. I remember being sick with Syd well into the 26th week. Bleah.

I have my monthly appointment next Thursday and the U/S the following Thursday. I wonder what it will be???? I'm very curious. Sydney has been asking for a "baby broderr." She's been so very sweet. When I'm sick, Sydney comes into the bathroom, rubs me on my back and says, "It's okay, Mommy. Mommy's sick. It's okay." Isn't that just too cute? Last week she followed an exceptionally loud heave with "Bless you." Ha ha! Thankfully, those moments are first thing in the morning and then, I'm great for the remainder of the day.

The next exciting thing is the baby movement. I recently starting feeling the little squirmy squishing and popcorn feeling, which is unmistakable. It is soooo early this time. I guess when you recognize it from before, it is easier to tell the difference between the baby and gas. :)

So exciting!! I can't wait to find out what you are having :)

Do you have any feelings one way or the other? My gut feeling was right every time with my kids! Have you thought of names yet?

Awww! I love posts like this. :) They make me ready for another. lol Very cute that she rubs your back when you are sick! Congrats on the early movement too. That's reassuring isn't it!? I hope next week you'll see her baby "brodeer."

With Syd, Marc had me convinced it was a boy. I think this time I believe it is a girl.

I like the name Addison Grace for a girl. Haven't even thought about boys names yet. Marc and I decided to wait until we knew before we started 'THE BATTLE.' :)

I hear ya on the "battle"! I had to agree to Ethan's name before we ever got married. Ethan is one of Adam's middle names and Reed is his grandpa's name - he married us - so we wanted to honor him.

So I pretty much got to name Avery. I loved the named Avery and Dianne is MY middle name.

Olivia we came up with together and Marin is the name of the county in California where Tiburon is - so it worked out.

We went round and round and round with Amelia. I had a dream the night I gave birth to Olivia and in the dream a little girl came to me and said "It's me mom - Amelia -don't forget about me 'k?" I had that dream about 10 more times before I found out I was pregnant with her. So Amelia was pretty much set in stone. But we fought over the middle name for SOOOOO long! I wanted Jane - he wanted Rose. Rose won.

I LOVE Addison. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! That was one of my choices for a girl! It fit the all important "Vowel only" guideline!

Jess, how fun that you are feeling movement already- and 17 weeks already! Syd is very sweet about the new baby. I don't think Ella has really any idea though I talk about having a baby and she knows when I use the doppler that we are listening for the baby. She likes to pretend to listen for a heartbeat on her own tummy!

Addison is a very sweet name for a girl. We are going with Gracyn Hannah if this baby is a girl and Gabriel Kenneth for a boy- same boy name we would have used last time around. I wasn't sold on Gracyn but Bob loves it and it sort of has the same style as Kathryn, which was Hannah's middle name. The more I say Gracyn the more I like it and I'm betting if the baby is a girl she will be called Gracie for a nickname which I really like a lot.

I can't wait to find out what you are having!

Tib-I love the names! :) I still don't know how you do it.

Jess-I love the names also. Will you call him Gabe for short? We haven't even thought about boy names. Well, I haven't. :)

I can't wait either. I want ADDISON! :) Of course, we know that I don't REALLY care. Healthy is wonderful!
