Rainy Tuesday

It was a rainy day today, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I must admit that Nathan and I went back to bed after Marc and Sydney left this morning and snuggled for quite some time. It was so wonderful. I'm really going to miss the morning snuggles when I go back to work. :(

Nathan and I took a trip to Chipotle to meet Marc for lunch today. Then, we headed over to Target to pick up a few items. I feel like I live in that store these days. Oh! We were on the way out and I saw this lady push her cart to the front of her truck, get in and drive away. The cart center was literally three parking spaces from her. HOW LAZY! I get really annoyed with this. It seems like Marc and I are always pushing random carts to a safer location. It is such a little thing. Why not just put the cart away? Well, enough of that. :)

I had my check up yesterday. Everything is back to normal and I am healthy, less the blood pressure issue. For now, we are just watching it. I weighed in 19lbs heavier than I did before I got pregnant. I'm thrilled. I hope to keep my new butt! I've never had one before and I'm quite thrilled. Ha ha!

I rethought my decision to quit pumping all together. I've instead decided to just cut back. Just couldn't do it. :) I'm not ready yet. I figure some is better than none.

Well, I'm off to Costco. My contact rx runs out tomorrow and I want to stock up. I'm quite happy with my rx so, I'd like to save the trip to the eye dr right now. I'll be visiting the dentist instead. :) I really hate going to drs. I don't even have a primary physician, but will have to get one now. I don't even know where to go. Jess, did you have one here?

I hope you all have a great week. I'll be out of town for much of the week visiting relatives so, I doubt I'll get to post much.

Take care,
Jess :)

Jess, I had a physician that I really liked there. His name is Irving Hwang and he is with South Riding Family Medicine, right near where 28 and 50 intersect.

Enjoy your visits, Jess!

BTW, B and I also get irritated with the lazy folks with the shopping carts. We too are always corralling them and putting them where they belong.

When Jack was still an infant, we had a CRAZY shopping cart incident. It was a cold, wet day coming out of the grocery store. To get the children out of the elements I loaded them one by one into their car seats in the back of the Explorer. It was a laborious task. Then I unloaded the grocery cart and as there was not a return coral in the parking lot, I locked the SUV and returned the cart to the front of the store. I walked about 10 to 12 spots away from my vehicle. Upon returning to the car a police man was standing there waiting for me. He was young and obviously bored. He had been watching me and wanted to lecture me on leaving the kids.

Later that same week Oprah was on discussing the hazzards of returning the cart while shopping with young children. She and the police man told both suggested to just leave the cart.

Now I attempt to park close to a cart coral. If it is inconvenient, the kids are having a melt down or some such nonsense, I too have been known to just leave my cart. For the most part, I grab a wayward cart on the way into a store and deposit it in the correct local on the way out. Just keep in mind Oprah says to just leave it and make your child the number one priority.

Safe travels. And people who leave their carts by their cars annoy the heck out of me. I hope Karma truly is a you know what.

Good luck in your Dr. search. It took us 7 years to find a dr. we liked and he is worth it.

Woli-definitely understand that dilemma; however, this chick had no child. She was just lazy. :)

Hey Jess! Sounds like you are enjoying your time with your little man! I've gone to Ashburn Medical Center for years. Dr. Ditaranto is the one I mainly see, he's the nicest doctor ever. The number is 703-729-1660 if you're interested!

You are the first person I've heard that is excited to have gained after having a baby. Too funny. I hate the cart thing too. How lazy can you be?
