Don't Move A Muscle!

Mr. Nathan has been changing things around on me lately and it seems that I just cannot get enough sleep. This afternoon, we made it out of the house to have lunch with Marc and my brother, Wes. When we returned, he was asleep in the car. Lately, he has just wanted me to hold him, which is great most of the time, but I find it difficult to sleep that way. So, rather than risk waking him, I pulled into the garage and flipped my seat back and tried to sleep. Funny huh? The things we'll do sometimes when we are desperate for sleep. :)

They say that kids tell the truth. I'm not sure which kids, certainly not my child. Sunday, Marc took Sydney to the potty and happened to see that some urine had missed the potty and hit the floor (she's quite a shot!). When he asked Syd what happened, she told him, "Mommy did it." She didn't even blink. Go figure she'd blame mom. :) BTW-in case you were wondering, it wasn't me. :)

Update on the thrush (in case you were curious). I spent a lot of the afternoon on Sunday roaming around looking for GV and couldn't find it anywhere (Wegmans, CVS, Giant, Target, Vitaminshoppe, Walgreens or GNC). So, I had to call the Dr on Monday. I've been on the meds for two days and there is a little improvement. I've got to order some GV to have in my cabinet in the event it happens again.

Well, I'm off to do some chores. Have a good night. I hope to catch up with you all soon.

I wish I could tell you the lying gets better...:sigh: Han could sure tell some good ones. She'd look you right in the eye and wouldn't bat an eyelash as she told a bold faced porky. I even miss that.

Good luck finding the GV. I had a terrible time finding any when I had it with Han. I hope it clears up soon. UGH!

Also, good luck getting some sleep. HUGS!

Okay, this might seem like a silly question coming from a mother of 4, but what's GV?

I hope the thrush gets better soon.
I have written on toddler honestly a couple of times lately so when you make your way around again, you'll see it is obviously my child who is being honest. And lastly, the sleeping in the car thing is too funny, but desperate times call for desperate measures!

Glad to hear you have some bladder control ;) Kids are too funny. I hope Nathan can get some rest soon without your holding him! And get some rest!

Ugh, Thrush! No fun!

I love that you just slept in the car when Nathan was all sound. So funny the lengths a tired mom will go to! Hang in there...

It is amazing how quickly they will throw us under the bus, eh? Apparently, in my house, I am the only one who makes messes.

I went through the seasons of thrush too, after the birth of a baby. I went to the doctor for immediate treatment, and was so grateful that we got through all of that. Take it easy Jess, and work in those naps.

Eek on the fibbing! My 4yo has mastered that effortlessly ;)

I found my Gentian Violet behind the pharmacy counter at a CVS....I am pretty sure the Leesburg Pharmacy carries it too....GL on the meds!
