A Celebration Like No Other

Yesterday, I had the special privilege of attending the life celebration for Hannah. It was an amazing experience that touched me to the core. Who knew I could learn so much from someone so young? I think you were right, Rachael, Hannah lived more in her short time here than I have in my life. I hope to change that. I'm thankful to have had the exposure to Hannah, even in the smallest way. I continue to send my positive thoughts and love to the family!

When I made it home last night, just in time to put my sweetie to bed, I decided to make my entrance wearing my party glam. Sydney was thrilled and instantly wanted to try on the boa and tiara. This morning, before she would allow me to dress her for school, she said, "Wrap me up, Mommy!" Then she stared at herself in the mirror. She had a smile from ear to ear. This was her first exposure to FANCY! :) I'll have to be sure she is decorated appropriately in the future.

Jess, I'm SO sorry I didn't get to see you yesterday. In fact, I was rather heartbroken as you had come all that way to glam it up for our little DIVA! But, I certainly understand the need to get home to get to your baby.

How fun for Syd to dress up and have a chance to be fancy. I think we should all be fancy at least once a week! :o)

Oh, I also meant to say thank you so much for coming to celebrate with us, it was truly amazing the number of people who came!

Rachel-

You are more than welcome. I was happy to attend. I want to be there for you and your family. Jess means the world to me and by extension, so do you.

I didn't stick around for very long because you had so much going on and I didn't want to get in your way. :)

We'll have to set aside a time to get together when things settle a bit. Williamsburg is beautiful!

Much love,
Jess

Jess, I love your new blog!!!

Ella has also been so delighted to be fancy the last few days- she and Lily have been squabbling over the mardi gras beads and purses, lol.

It was so very nice of you to come down for Hannah's party and I loved seeing you since I didn't get a chance to before we moved.

Love,

Jess
