The Big 3-0 on the 30th!

Well, today is my birthday and so far, it has been pretty interesting.

Just after the alarm went off this morning, Sydney came barrelling into our room to announce, "I peed in the bed, Dad!" I was pretty confused about this because, although Syd wears underwear all day, we haven't attempted any nighttime training yet. Marc checked it out and sure enough, she had managed to pee around her diaper. Funny, but frustrating when you've got to get to work. Sydney, of course, made up for it when she climbed into the bed and sang 'Happy Birthday' to me and Madison, our dog.

Unfortunately, there were a few more hiccups this morning that added to the rocky start. I won't bore you. Let's just say I was ready to get back into bed and try again tomorrow. Thankfully, for the most part, I am back on track.

I got a call from my mommy on the way to work! :) She had lots of energy and positivity to spread my way, which really helped me get back into the birthday spirit. Shortly thereafter, my dad called, another good conversation. I've gotten a few b-day emails and cards. My sister just cld. :) I miss her so much. My boss got me a new DB purse!!! I'm so spoiled. I love it! Next on my list, I'm going to order new pots and pans from QVC. My grandparents and mother in law gave me money for my b-day! :) YAY!
