I am so hooked on this year's AI (well I am every year). I love the new judge! I'm so with you on the crappy bikini girl. She's a total butter face (you know, everything looks good, but her face). And ew to the potty talker and the ugly sandal wearer.

As for the finding your "thing", I've thought of that myself. It seems almost that if you're not super duper awesome at something artistic you don't have a "thing". But I think a "thing" could be as simple as always adressing someone by their name when they tell it to you on the phone, or remembering to send thank you notes, or smiling at people you don't know. Or it could be that you make people laugh when they're having a bad day, or that you make really awesome fried chicken. :) OR it could be any combination of little awesome things that makes you different than everyone else.

PS- you're raising 2 beautiful children and if you keep instilling them with good manners and compassion for others, then you are absolutely making a difference.alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05112692075105277131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8865443768375691759.post-65729199474014223382009-01-14T14:13:00.000-05:002009-01-14T14:13:00.000-05:00Very thought provoking post.
